Before you begin to seriously look at homes, you need a couple of things. First you need a buyer's agent, like me, that will look out for your best interests at NO charge. I can set you up to receive new listings via email as soon as they hit the multi-lists. You also will need to be pre-approved BEFORE you ever make an offer on a home.

My husband and I lost 30% of our savings in the stock crash of 2001-2002. Since our careers had required frequent interstate moves, we had been renters and never bought a home.
